Wayland Town Crier 3/18/19: Judge finds Cass not guilty of computer theft. Former Wayland Public School’s athletic director Stephen Cass said he can finally move on with his life after a judge on Thursday cleared him of a larceny charge. On Thursday, Cass went on trial for one count of larceny of property worth less than $250. He was accused of stealing a Wayland School Department laptop computer by not returning it when school officials failed to renew his contract as athletic director. Police arrested him on Oct. 26.

Kevin Cullen had an excellent Globe column about this travesty of injustice: http://www.bostonglobe.com/metro/2016/03/21/the-depreciation-values/zOCEWrExfplc85hNO4wgHM/story.html
Steve Cass should sue the town for defamation of character. I intend to write him in for School Committee in the coming town election
