Calvin won a “Silver Key” for his piece Arrival.

This winning piece was among nearly 320,000 submitted by students across the country and from places abroad. Nearly 18,000 works earned regional Gold Keys and advanced to NYC for national adjudication. Of those Gold Key works, just 2,400 (or 0.75%) received National Medals.

This is Calvin’s second national award. He also won for this piece, Lost, in 2014.
