The Wayland Free Public Library’s Great Presenters Series continues next week with Paul and Jessica Schendel, the Wayland couple behind Uganda’s SEED (Science Education to Enhance Development) Institute.

A 2009 volunteer visit to Uganda showed the Schendels the lack of local medical services and the lack of science teaching in schools. In response to this need, formed SEED to train science educators. They’ll share their experiences working with local African leaders to make their vision into reality. Tuesday, February 3, 2015. 7:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., in WFPL’s Raytheon Room.
