Wayland Town Crier 12/4/14: Attorney for CVS developer in Cochituate reacts to ruling. Massachusetts Land Court Judge Alexander Sands ruled just before Thanksgiving to declare Hammond Road a private way that cannot be consolidated for the proposed 14,000-square-foot CVS at the location of the former Finnerty’s Restaurant in the heart of Cochituate.
As a result, the developers of the site, 150 Main Street LLC, lost their motion for summary judgment seeking to declare that Hammond Road was an easement rather than a public or private way.
