The Trustees and staff of the Wayland Public Library are pleased to announce that the library will re-open on Monday, August 9.  The library was flooded this spring, and it has been closed for several months for reconstruction.  We are very grateful to our neighboring libraries who have looked after Wayland residents so well while the library has been closed.  We look forward to welcoming our library patrons back to their local library and re-introducing them to the joys and convenience of local library service.  We look forward to resuming the library’s role as a valued community center and information resource for Wayland.  There will be a community event with entertainment and family activities on Sunday, September 12, to celebrate the re-opening of the library.
