Pursuant to Chapter 190 of the Town of the Town of Wayland By-Laws, the Department of Public Works declares a State of Water Supply Conservation.

The Following Restriction is in effect beginning July 6, 2010 and will remain in effect until deemed unnecessary by the Board of Water Commissioners.

Outdoor Watering is limited to hand watering only between the hours of 7:00 pm and 7:00 am.  The use of outdoor sprinkler devices is prohibited.  An outdoor sprinkler device includes in-ground irrigation systems and above-ground lawn sprinklers attached to hoses.

The purpose of this Water Restriction is to ensure an adequate supply of water.
