Wayland’s Second Annual Community Multicultural Festival Promises an Afternoon of Unity and Celebration

The vibrant heart of cultural diversity beats once again as Wayland prepares to host its Second Annual Community Multicultural Festival on Sunday, June 2, from 1-5 pm at the Wayland High School Fieldhouse.

The Festival will include fabulous music and dance performances, mouth-watering foods, crafts and activities for children, and a wonderful selection of community vendors. You’ll meet new friends and neighbors, and help celebrate the cultural diversity that enriches the Wayland community.

The Festival, a celebration of unity and diversity in the community, is sponsored by The Wayland Human Rights, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee (HRDEIC) and the Town of Wayland. Special Cosponsors include The Wayland Cultural Council, Mass Cultural Council, and Village Bank. Friend Sponsors include a host of outstanding businesses and organizations.

The organizers hope the Festival will serve as an antidote to division and a catalyst for nurturing our relationships with one another. Attendees are encouraged to immerse themselves in the sights, sounds, and flavors of cultures with which they may be unfamiliar. Bring your curiosity, good will and your appetite for delicious food!
