Legacy.com 5/19/24: Mark Daniel Owen.  Long-time Wayland teacher Mark Owen died in Nashville on Sunday, May 19.  From his obituary: “Mark then became an elementary school teacher, a role he would go on to hold for almost 20 years in Wayland Public Schools. He was known for teaching hands-on science projects and for organizing a “SOUPer Bowl” each February, with classes competing to donate the most food to a local food bank.”
