Hearing, Hearing Loss, and Treatments

The Council on Aging presents Lunch and Learn: Hearing, Hearing Loss, and Treatments, on Tuesday, April 23 at noon. Mark Parker, PhD, will describe the normal auditory system, the most common causes of hearing loss and tinnitus, and treatments for hearing loss such as stem cell therapies, gene therapies, hearing aids and cochlear implants. He will also discuss the difference between over-the-counter and prescription hearing aids. Following the presentation there will be time for Q & A.
