The Council on Aging is taking requests from Wayland residents for appointments with our AARP Tax Preparers. Beginning in February, low- to moderate-income taxpayers can get help preparing their basic tax return through the AARP Foundation Tax-Aide Program, in partnership with the IRS. A “basic” return does not involve rental property or trust and partnerships that produce a Schedule K-1. Appointments will be held on Fridays from February through April in the Town Building. Call the COA for details or to make an appointment, 508-358-2990. Beginning February 1, non-Wayland residents may begin calling for appointments.
