Hello Wayland Friends and Family,

You may recall back at the 2019 Annual Town Meeting (in the time before COVID), three then-middle school students presented an Article for Wayland to hold a Music Festival.  As a member of the Select Board, I have had the distinct pleasure of working with Eliana, Joss, and Kyra to turn this Article into a reality.  I am delighted and honored to share that the festival is a go and will be happening on Saturday, May 21 at Wayland Town Center from 3pm to 8pm.  I will leave it to Kyra (one of the petitioners and organizers) to take it from here.  I look forward to seeing you all at the Music Festival.

Hi everyone! I would just like to reach out and tell you all about the Wayland Music Festival, happening Saturday, May 21st! I, along with two other high school students Joss O’Heron and Eliana Barenboym, have been organizing this festival since 7th grade. It got shut down due to COVID, but now it is finally happening! There are going to be live bands, art, games, face painting, balloon animal making, food and ice cream trucks, and more! It will start at 3 o’clock and go to about 8, and it is happening in Wayland Town Center, 400 Boston Post Road. There will be easy parking, as well. Please try to make it to this amazing event and support Wayland!
