  • Attention, Wayland Residents of Chinese Heritage. Whether your family hails from China, Singapore, Taiwan, the United States, or anywhere else, we want to document your experience living in Wayland. We want all Wayland residents, whether next year or a hundred years from now, to hear your voices.  We will keep your answers in our historical collection for future generations.  This survey will be anonymous in order to encourage candid answers to the questions.  You’ll find it on the blog at waylandlibrary.org.

  • Sewing Machine. We have a beautiful new Singer M2100, just waiting for you to check it out from our Library of Things.  It’s lightweight and portable—great for sewing in smaller spaces or for taking to sewing class.  There are 63 stitch applications, all with preset stitch length and width, eliminating guesswork.  The front-loading bobbin, easy threading, and four-step buttonhole process also make it perfect for the beginner.  There’s even an app to help you along.
