WCVB TV 4/20/22: Families mourn loss of 2 Massachusetts men who drowned in Vermont lake. The families of two Massachusetts men are grieving after those men drowned while kayaking on a Vermont lake. The Vermont State Police department identified the victims as 27-year-old Aidan Connolly, of Boston’s Roslindale neighborhood, and 29-year-old Nicholas Samuels, of Weston.

Nicholas Samuels was a graduate of Wayland schools, attending from Claypit Hill Elementary School through Wayland High School

Boston Globe 4/20/22: Family mourns kayaker from Mass. who drowned in Vermont lake. In a statement to WCVB-TV, the family said Nicholas Samuels was a graduate of Wayland High School and the University of Colorado at Boulder. “Nicholas’s time on Earth was tragically cut short. He was a vibrant 29 year-old intellectual and outdoorsman who loved life and lived it to its fullest,” the statement said, which is posted to the WCVB website.
