Flooding of the Sudbury River, April 4

The Sudbury River has been known to flood periodically over the last century.  Some remember canoes in the middle of Wayland Center.  Join us for an informative panel discussion about the Sudbury River and episodic flooding of our wetlands, streets and neighborhoods by this slow-flowing yet powerful river.
Presenters: Brian Donahue, Associate Professor of American Environmental Studies; Alison Field-Juma, Executive Director of OARS;  and Tom Sciacca, Sudbury, Assabet, and Concord Wild and Scenic Rivers Stewardship Council Member.

Monday, 7:00 pm, April 4, 2022 via Zoom.
