Beehive Art Workshop for K-3 at Loker School

beehiveartnovemberpic2Through Wayland School Community Programs, Beehive Art, which has a Wayland-based studio, is bringing its art workshop to Loker School, starting in January. Workshops are running currently at Claypit Hill School, and Loker’s sessions will begin on Wednesday, January 11, and continue until February 15, 2017. The workshops begin at 1:50 pm and end at 3 pm.

Kim Poler, Beehive Art owner, is offering a Mixed Media Workshop for Loker School kindergarteners through Grade Three students. The workshops will feature several art techniques, such as watercolors, oil pastels, paint, photo, print and pattern collage, and 3-D sculpture.Young artists will explore book and printmaking, construct sculptures and mobiles, design spin art, and enjoy making miniatures and toys.

The fee for the six Community Education classes is $140.
