THE WAYLAND HISTORICAL SOCIETY Invites you to Celebrate Views of Belted Galloways, Mt. Wachusett, and Mt. Monadnock
Sunday, September 25, 2016 2pm-4pm at Mainstone Farm.
Gretchen Schuler will guide us on a “top of the hill tour” explaining building development/farm history, while children are invited on a supervised hike on future trails and a scavenger hunt. Refreshments will be served at the end of the tour.
Those who are able should park at the farmstand off Old Connecticut Path and walk up to the top of the hill. Parking at the top is restricted to those with HP plates. Shuttle service will be available for those for whom the walk is difficult Please wear appropriate outdoor clothing and bug spray and bring an umbrella if there’s light rain. The program will be cancelled if there is heavy rain.
