Blood Donors gave generously of the ‘Gift of Life’ when blood mobiles came to Wayland High School from the Boston Children’s Hospital and Dana Farber Cancer Institute on a sparkling June Saturday. Over 100 pints of blood were donated which can help up to 300 people! Many Wayland High School students helped throughout the day as many of Eric’s friends and family came together to honor Eric, much loved for his warmth and giving nature. Eric lost his battle with leukemia while in his senior year at University of Vermont. This 4th Blood Drive carries on his memory as it gives to others striving to get well. There is no substitute for human blood.
