Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Mass/ Metrowest is hosting its Summer Kick-Off event at Wayland High School on Saturday, June 18 from 10-2pm. BBBS CM/MW is a non-profit organization which matches youth (Littles) facing adversity with caring one-on-one volunteer mentors (Bigs) who help them reach their full potential. The event is intended for Bigs and Littles in the program in addition to children who are waiting to be matched with mentors and the purpose is to bring the Bigs and Littles together to celebrate summer! The Summer Kick-Off will feature a number of activities which will require volunteer support including field games, tie dye, swimming, science activities and a photo booth. Volunteers will be needed at the event from 8:30am-2:30pm. This is a wonderful opportunity for WHS students and families to volunteer and learn what great work BBBS CM/MW does.
