After carefully consulting weather forecasts over the past few days, we have made the difficult decision to move Sunday’s Graduation Ceremony of the Class of 2016 to the WHS Field House. Forecasts have consistently indicated that Sunday afternoon will be rainy and cool.  We are making this decision now in order to give us enough time to set up the seating and technical aspects of the ceremony, as well as for your advance planning.

As you know, seating capacity in the Field House is more limited than in the stadium.  We are not distributing tickets; instead, we are asking that graduates bring no more than five or six guests so that we do not exceed official capacity.  If graduates want to bring more guests, they are welcome to be seated in the WHS theater, where we will be showing a live broadcast of the ceremony.

Doors to the Field House and the theater will be open at 1:45 p.m.

To accommodate those viewing the ceremony from home, a live broadcast of the ceremony will begin at2:45 p.m. on the Waycam website (http://www.waycam.tv/).

We are looking forward to a beautiful ceremony to properly celebrate the accomplishments of the Class of 2016!  See you on Sunday.
