Kathy Crawley, Speech Pathologist, to Retire
For more than 20 years, speech and language pathologist Kathy Crawley has been helping young children in Wayland with their language development. As a specialist in early childhood based at The Children’s Way and working with children throughout the town, Crawley has – as one parent said – “been a ray of sunlight to the lives she has touched” as she has worked tirelessly to help young children “find their words.”
As she retires, parents have joined together to honor her and are asking community members to thank her by sending a card to their child or children’s school office by May 27, whether the student be at The Children’s Way or in elementary, middle or high school. Cards from parents or college students/grads would also be appreciated.
Known as “Ms. Kathy,” Crawley will be honored at a Popcorn Farewell Party on Thursday, June 9, 2016, 3:30-4:30pm on the back lawn of the Wayland Town Building. All are invited to stop by and wish Ms. Crawley well.
