Wayland Town Crier 5/5/16: Adult Soccer: No one is too old to play for these Wayland teams. The Wayland Recreation Department’s motto is: “We do not stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.” The members of the New England Over-The-Hill Soccer League live by that motto every Sunday morning, spring and fall. The NEOTHSL (OTHSL for short) was founded in 1981 with eight teams, and now has over 300 teams throughout the Boston area and northern New England. It is believed to be the largest adult soccer league in the U.S., and possibly worldwide.
