Wayland Town Crier 1/14/16: Wayland town administrator gets pay raise. At its first meeting of the New Year, the Board of Selectmen voted to raise the salary of Town Administrator Nan Balmer from $137,000 to $143,500, or by about 4.8 percent, effective Sept. 8, 2015. In its performance evaluation, the selectmen gave Balmer warm reviews, although they generally agreed it would be desirable for her to take a stronger leadership role.
