Two chances to see the social justice movie Food Chains. Food Chains shows an intrepid group of Florida farmworkers battling to defeat the $4 trillion global supermarket industry through their ingenious Fair Food program, which partners with growers and retailers to improve working conditions for farm laborers in the United States.
  • Monday, March 30 at 7:30pm at the Weston Congregational Church (130 Newton Street, Weston)
  • Tuesday, March 31 at 7:30pm at Open Spirit (39 Edwards Street, Framingham, church on the hill)
The Fair Food Program this film explores has been called “one of the great human rights success stories of our day” and “a model elsewhere in the world” by the UN Working Group on Business & Human Rights. This screening is brought to you by Transition Wayland, Congregational Church of Weston environmental action group, Open Spirit, Interlock Media, and One Earth Collaborative.
