Wayland Town Crier 2/6/15: Officials working through issues for River’s Edge in Wayland. Proponents behind the proposed housing project River’s Edge remain optimistic their request for proposal (RFP) to prospective developers will go out later this spring despite a number of issues still to be resolved. A brainchild of the town’s Economic Development Committee, River’s Edge is envisaged as an affordable and market-rate rental housing project on Rte. 20 near the landfill. An advisory committee of nine members was formed last year to review bids on the project and to advise the Board of Selectmen.
