Wayland Patch 12/17/14: Wayland Players, Coach Named Globe All-Scholastics. Several Wayland athletes, as well as a coach, added honors to their resumes this week with the announcement of the Boston Globe All-Scholastics.
Golfers Nick Morgan and George Mead were honored — Morgan with Player of the Year honors — and their coach, T. J. Anthoine received Coach of the Year recognition.
The golf team won Division 2 North sectional and state titles in 2014.
Wayland soccer player Andres Pascual-Leone is a senior midfielder with a career total of 34 goals and 15 assists. He is also a four-year honor roll student and a member of the National Honor Society.
