Wayland Town Crier 12/11/14: Wayland resident performs in ‘The Velveteen Rabbit’. Sophie Stowell, 10, of Wayland, is appearing in the role of Fairy in Boston Children’s Theatre’s production of “The Velveteen Rabbit,” running through December 21 at Endicott College’s Manninen Center for the Arts, 376 Hale St., Beverly. The moving and amusing story tells of the friendship between a boy and his beloved Velveteen Rabbit.
Returning for a sixth season, Stowell, a fourth-grader at Claypit Hill School, has previously appeared in “Pirate Joe,” “The Lion King” and “Annie.”
Performances are Dec. 13 at 4:30 p.m., Dec. 14 at 2 and 4 p.m., Dec. 20 at 2 and 4 p.m., and Dec. 21 at noon and 2 p.m.
