Wayland Town Crier 9/25/14: AG: Wayland school board violated OML again. The state Attorney General’s office has issued its fifth ruling in five months on Open Meeting Law complaints against the Wayland School Committee, all of which have originated from local attorney and former selectman George Harris. On Monday, Assistant Attorney General Kevin W. Manganaro wrote to School Committee Chairwoman Ellen Grieco that the committee’s executive session minutes on June 3, 2013, regarding negotiations with the Wayland Teachers Association (WTA), were “insufficiently detailed.” The original version of the executive session minutes included “two brief sentences” on the topic. Manganaro noted the committee has since taken appropriate action to amend the minutes to include the missing information.
