Monday, while Eastham selectmen were holding their regular meeting, Nan Balmer, assistant Eastham town administrator, was in Wayland, a suburb of Boston, being interviewed by the Wayland Board of Selectmen for the town administrator position. She was one of two finalists for the position, and the board voted unanimously to offer the job to her that night.
