Wayland Town Crier 7/14/14: Turkington to assume town administrator duties in Sharon. Fred Turkington, the unanimous choice of the board of selectmen and the last candidate in contention at the end of a lengthy search process, will assume his new duties as Sharon’s town administrator on Aug. 18, pending successful contract negotiations. While he grew up in Connecticut, Turkington said Sharon is very similar in government structure, demographics, and community characteristics and attributes to the last two towns he has worked in.
