Wayland Town Crier 7/14/14: Ashland, Sudbury, Wayland awarded energy grants. The state awarded the town a $250,000 clean energy grant on Monday as part of the Department of Energy and Environmental Affairs’ Green Communities program. In a ceremony at Ashland Town Hall, 43 municipalities, including Natick, Hopkinton, Mendon, Sudbury, Wayland and Weston received grants. The state gave out $7.9 million, with each town eligible for up to $250,000.
