Pelham Island Pictures: A Contract for Life: history of SADD. In 1981, 15 students and one teacher came together to found an organization that would help students make healthier decisions. They called themselves Students Against Destructive Decisions or SADD and their small idea to change the world for the better would turn into an international organization with over 10,000 chapters within the United States alone.
