Wayland Police Department participating in “White Ribbon Day Campaign”

whiteribbon2The Wayland Police Department in an effort to raise awareness, reduce and end violence against women is participating in Jane Doe Inc. “White Ribbon Day Campaign”.  This campaign invites men and boys to be part of the solution in ending violence against women.

On March 6, 2014, men throughout Massachusetts speak out to:

  • Foster a positive image of masculinity and join in a celebration of personal peace and cooperation!
  • Change societal attitudes and beliefs that perpetuate and make excuses for violence against women!
  • Build a network of resounding voices that will support and advance the initiatives and efforts of Jane Doe Inc. and its member organizations to promote the safety, liberty and dignity of survivors!
