Wayland’s OPEB Advisory Committee will have a public information session on March 11 2014, 7:30-9pm in the Large Hearing Room of the Wayland Town Building. The Committee will address the subject of financing retiree healthcare insurance for the Town of Wayland’s employees and retirees, also known as “Other Post-Employment Benefits” or OPEB. The Committee will explain in detail its OPEB funding Article to be voted at the April Town Meeting. The Committee will be joined by John Senchyshyn, Wayland’s Assistant Town Administrator & Human Resource Director, Also in attendance will be Treasurer Paul Keating, plus guest speaker Brian Callow from the investment management firm Rockland Trust Company.
