Wayland Town Crier 2/7/14: Peace Lutheran in Wayland marking 50 years. “We may not have the grandest building in the world,” said Rev. Jeffrey Johnson of Peace Lutheran Church on Concord Road in Wayland. “But what is distinctive about us is the character of our community, which emphasizes serving others.” The church is celebrates its 50th anniversary this year with 50 events planned for its 50-member congregation, and the motto is “50 Years of Sowing Seeds of Peace.”
