Boston Globe 1/9/14: Rep. Conroy jumping into race for Mass. treasurer. State Rep. Tom Conroy is jumping into the race for state treasurer. The Wayland Democrat is planning to formally announce his candidacy Thursday before embarking on a four-day tour of the state. Conroy serves as House chairman of the Committee on Labor and Workforce Development and has served in the Legislature since 2007. He’s planning to make one of his campaign themes a pledge to fight for economic justice and income inequality.
