Wayland Town Crier 12/19/13: Dissension on WaylandCares Review Committee. The future of the WaylandCares Review Committee remains unclear after three members of the now-fractured group appeared before the Board of Selectmen on Monday night with conflicting views about what has been accomplished to date and what still needs to be done. The meeting followed the submission of a 102-page draft report on Nov. 13 by Chairwoman Gail Shapiro and member Joseph Barrett. According to a cover letter signed by Shapiro, committee members Leslie Corner, Shirley Jacobson and Kathryn Lee contributed to the work of the report, but strongly disagreed with some of the views expressed.
