Wayland Town Crier 11/27/13: Split decision on Wayland Open Meeting Law violation. In a decision released Monday, the Attorney General’s office found no evidence selectmen improperly discussed firing former Town Administrator Fred Turkington prior to its Aug. 26 meeting. However, the AG found the notice for the Aug. 26 meeting was not specific enough to inform the public that a discussion about possibly firing Turkington would occur.
