Preview of Board of Selectmen Meeting, Monday, December 2, 2013

The Board of Selectmen will meet on Monday, December 2, 2013 in Wayland Town Building beginning at 7:00 pm in the Selectmen’s Meeting Room. The meeting will begin with the Vice-Chair reviewing the meeting agenda for the viewing public and make announcements. Following will be the planned appointment of Robert Mercier as Interim Town Administrator on a part-time basis.

At 7:15 pm the Selectmen with meet with the Energy Committee to review their energy proposal. At 7:45 the Personnel Board will join the meeting to review references for the consultants for the Town Administrator search leading to the potential selection of a firm. Then the Boards will discuss next steps in the search.

At approximately 8:25 p.m., the Selectmen will discuss the Housing Trust with Mary Antes and Rachel Bratt. Then the Board will review portfolio assignments and vote to endorse a Land Agreement with the MDOT.

At approximately 9:05 pm the Selectmen will review the consent calendar, review correspondence and listen to the report of the Acting Town Administrator. Selectmen’s reports and concerns will be discussed at approximately 9:30 pm. The meeting is planned to adjourn at 9:50 pm.
