Wayland Patch 11/7/13: Update on Empty Wayland BOS Seat. A special election will be held on April 1 to fill the seat former selectman Doug Leard, according to Acting Town Administrator John Senchyshyn. The Board of Selectmen, during its Nov. 6 meeting, voted to scheduled the election on the same day of the annual town election.
