Wayland Patch 9/28/13: Car Strikes Bicyclist In Wayland. A bicyclist was hit by a car Saturday afternoon causing serious injuries. The accident occurred on Rte. 20 near Rte. 27, according to scanner reports. A medical helicopter was called, and landed near Town Hall. The patient was taken to Boston Medical Center.
UPDATE 9/29/13: The cyclist involved in the crash sustained minor injuries, but he’s OK. He was wearing a helmet (see image) which prevented more serious injuries.
