Preview of September 9, 2013 meeting of the Board of Selectmen

The Board of Selectmen will meet on Monday, September 9, 2013 in Wayland Town Building beginning at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will begin with an executive session to discuss pending litigation in the matter of Twenty Wayland, LLC v Town of Wayland and the WWMDC, and to discuss an OML complaint filed on September 3, 2013.

At 7:20 the Chair will call the open session to order in the Large Hearing Room. After reviewing the meeting agenda for the viewing public and making any announcements, an extended public comment will be held.

At approximately 8:00 p.m., the Board will appoint John Senchyshyn as Acting Town Administrator. At 8:05 the Board will discuss interim support for the Acting Town Administrator and the Town Administrator selection process.

Beginning at approximately 8:40 pm, Selectmen will meet with Jerry Heller, CPC Chair regarding the acquisition of a proposed conservation easement; review and potentially approve a Regulatory Agreement for the Habitat affordable housing project; hear an update from members of the Permanent Municipal Building Committee regarding project study updates for the new Department of Public Works facility; discuss an amended agreement related to the Danforth Housing Project.

At approximately 10:00 pm the Board will discuss potential warrant articles and vote to open the warrant for Special Town Meeting. The proposed date is November 20.

Next, Selectmen will consider the consent calendar, review correspondence, and listen to the report of the Acting Town Administrator. Selectmen will then offer their reports and concerns.
