Wayland Town Crier 9/5/13: High hopes for Wayland segment of Mass. Central Rail Trail. Some creative thinking has recently been brought to bear on the proposed Wayland segment of the Massachusetts Central Rail Trail, with the current hope that 1.4 miles between Plain Road and the new Town Center can be completed during the town’s 375th anniversary year, which ends in June 2014.
