Help Kick Cancer: Saturday, September 14, 2013, 9am-2pm at Cochituate Fields.  Registration for this event closes on September 2, 2013.

September is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month.  Come on out during Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month for a kickball tournament for the cause! This first-time event is being held in memory of Gisela Scherzinger, and in celebration of the final season of Jenn Sommermann’s 50x50x100 Campaign. Jenn survived Stage 3 Ovarian Cancer and went on to launch her campaign to compete in 50 triathlons, in all 50 states, by the time she is 50 to raise $100,000 for Ovarian Cancer Research Fund.

Try your luck at fun prizes in the raffle and enjoy pizza, fresh fruit, water, sodas along with a great game of kickball for a cause.  Register a team of 10-14 players for $250, or join as an individual for $25.  Ovarian Cancer Research Fund is the beneficiary of this event, which is being co-sponsored by the Spartan Softball Team.  To learn more and register, contact Linda Peverada at 508-314-1142.
