The Wayland Middle School roof replacement will be substantially completed by Aug. 24 in good time for the upcoming school year, according to Public Buildings Director John Moynihan. “We lost a few days due to bad weather, but the contractor adjusted his staffing levels to make up for that,” Moynihan said. The anticipated cost of the project is $2.9 million, as opposed to earlier estimates ranging from $1.5 million to $3.5 million.
