The Wayland School Committee has made its decision regarding the general contractor it wants to hire to replace the Wayland Middle School roof. During a Thursday night meeting, the committee awarded the contract to Capeway Roofing Systems, School Committee member Donna Bouchard told Patch. The accepted bid came in at $1.97 million, which was about $500,000 under what was expected, Bouchard added.
