F.I.S.H. (Friends in Service Helping) is a volunteer group of drivers and schedulers that assists Wayland residents in need of transportation to medical appointments; additional telephone volunteers and drivers are needed at this time. Telephone volunteers make a commitment of 1 – 2 hours a day for one or two days/month to connect drivers with people in need of transportation. Drivers provide rides on an as-available basis. This is a flexible volunteer opportunity with many rewards! To learn more, contact Maureen DeJong, Council on Aging Volunteer Coordinator, at mdejong@wayland.ma.us.
