PROPERTY TAX WORK OFF PROGRAM
Wayland’s April Town Meeting supported the continuation of the Property Tax Work-Off Program through the COA for FY 2014. This program provided over 3000 hours of service to Town Departments in FY2013. Application to this program does not guarantee placement. Applicant skills will be matched with a department’s needs. If more applications are received than positions available, a lottery is held in July to determine the order in which seniors will be considered for placement. Complete information about this program and the application packet will be available in the COA office starting June 3.
