Wayland Patch 5/31/13: Wayland Baseball Stuns Third Seeded Burlington. Burlington stunned upstart Wayland High School with three runs in the final two innings of Thursday’s first round North Division 2 baseball postseason game. But in the end, it was the Red Devils who left the diamond with the biggest shock. No. 14 seed Wayland bounced back after losing a late 4-1 lead, stunning No. 3 seed Burlington on Thursday with a 5-4 victory in eight innings. They will play the winner of Beverly vs. Belmont on Monday, June 3 at 4pm. Location: TBA.
