Wayland Patch 5/22/13: Bear Spotted in North Wayland Tuesday. It’s that time of year: The time when the birds start coming to your bird feeders… and so do the bears. Tuesday evening, Wayland Police responded to a report of a black bear sighting on Three Ponds Roads. Wayland Dispatch said the bear wandered into the woods and that the Environmental Police responded to the area.
