Wayland Patch 2/2/13: Wayland Student to Compete in Weekend Math Competition. A Wayland Middle School student is among the mathletes scheduled to compete in the Metrowest chapter Mathcounts competition on Saturday, Feb. 2. WMS student Kanming Xu will join sixth, seventh and eighth graders from 27 public and independent schools across the Metrowest area, in Saturday’s regional competition at Meadowbrook School in Weston.
